The Foothills Association of Master Gardeners Lecture Series will feature holistic herbalist Wendy Lippman.
Her presentation will be Feb. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Polk County Campus of Isothermal Community College.
The program is open to the public and free of charge.
Predominately self-taught, Lippman has been interested in the medicinal properties of plants and herbs since she was a child.
“Herbs are a great way to keep you healthy. I want to expose people to an alternative way of health and wellness through the power of plants,” says Lippman of her goal.
She creates her own formulas, using herbs and plants from her own garden.
Both artist and an herbalist, Lippman considers creating formulas an artistic process.
Wendy’s Wonder Botanicals offers products handcrafted in her kitchen, in small batches.
All are from her own recipes, using her own infused oils. She also conducts herb walks.
