Polk County Schools will be delayed two hours on Tuesday, Jan. 7 because of potentially hazardous weather conditions, according to superintendent Bill Miller.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather in Tryon Tuesday is supposed to be sunny, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -13. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.
