Eugene Thompson of Campobello died Nov. 7.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Minnie Ruth Thompson; son, Timothy Eugene Thompson of Chicago; sister, Corine (CD) Vernon of Campobello; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Nov. 16 at the New Pilgrim Baptist Church.
