Sculpture 2013 at the Tryon Fine Arts Center through May 30 is a juried regional sculpture exhibition and sale. The opening reception from 4-7 p.m. will be held at the Mahler room at the center located at 34 Melrose Avenue, Tryon. For more information, visit www.tryonarts.org.

Another family friendly event is the Hunter Derby, hosted by the Blue Ridge Hunter Jumper Association at 5:30 p.m. at Harmon Field.  All proceeds will benefit the St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation.
