Green River games set for Sept. 7 & 8

Owens also asked Grace about the area being an alcohol free area and how he is going to be able to control that.
Grace said the same as he does everywhere. It’s against the law, he said.
Grace said the type of people who will come to the Green River Games are going to be athletes and their families. He said the games are certainly not going to provide alcohol.
“I think everybody will be pleasantly surprised with the behavior of the group that comes out for this,” Grace said.
Foothills Chamber of Commerce President Laura Weicker said the chamber board of directors supports the Green River Games.
“We believe this event will have benefits to economics both now and years to come,” said Weicker.
She said the impact is far reaching and has the potential to draw people internationally.
