Lions make contributions to Superstorm Sandy relief

Columbus Lions contributed $600 toward Sandy relief. Columbus Lions will soon be visiting their visually impaired persons (VIPs) with Christmas goodies, including poinsettias, large print calendars, handmade ornaments, and for many of them, grocery store gift cards.

Be assured that 100 percent of your donation to Lions Clubs goes to help people. All overhead of the clubs and the international office is paid by Lions’ dues. As with most civic clubs, all Lions and their officers are unpaid volunteers.

If you would like to help, send your contribution to Columbus Lions Club, P. O. Box 121, Columbus, N.C. 28722.
