Polk’s second half comeback falls short versus Hendersonville

Ollis also commented on the crowd Friday night.
“I could not be more proud of the numbers we brought, I turned around and the whole stands were blue and the band was here; giving great support for us,” he said.
Hendersonville had a total of 371 yards rushing with running back Desean Jackson providing the bulk of the Bearcats’ offensive production as he ran for 233 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown.
Philpott was an incredible 16-19 for 193 yards passing, while connecting with five different receivers for two touchdowns. Polk also rushed the ball 35 times for 157 yards for a total of 350.
Polk will host its opening playoff game at home this Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 against East Rutherford.
