28.       8.4.1 Land Preservation Overlay District.  The intent of the Land Preservation Overlay district (LPO) is to preserve open space, rural community, character, agricultural lands, forest lands, and natural and cultural features on development of in major subdivisions, while also permitting full-equity development in the form of compact residential areas carefully located and designed to concentrate intensity density (see Article 26). The LPO district shall apply to all areas of the RE-1, RE-5, and AR-5 zoning districts which are located within 500 feet of a public water system as measured along a public right-of-way.

 

29.       8.4.3.  Deleted this section.

 

30.       8.5.  Made the following changes to the Table of Uses:

  • Accessory Use Not Otherwise Listed
  • In the AR zoning district, made the following buildings/uses permitted-by-right (P):  garage, residential; storage shed; swimming pool, spa; temporary construction building; and yard sale.
  • In the AR-5 zoning district, added greenhouse, commercial (accessory) as a conditional use (C).
