Nancy Jeanne Capps, 67, of Moore, S.C. passed away Friday evening, Aug. 17, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dayton, OHIO, she was the daughter of Ruth Booher Stafford of Beavercreek, Ohio and the late Paul Orville Stafford, and widow of C.W. Capps, who passed away in 2010. She was a member of Anderson Mill Baptist Church, Moore, S.C. Mrs. Capps loved horses, taking pictures, crafts, holidays and birthdays. She especially loved taking care of family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Thomas Spalding of Moore, S.C. and Larry Neely (Nicole) of San Diego, Calif.; four daughters, Teresa Wise (Jeffrey) of Monroe, N.C., Christine Lyons (Tim) of Downingtown, Pa., Debra Capps of Lyman, S.C. and Barbara Nauss (Andrew) of Cape Coral, Fla.; five brothers, David Stafford (Esther) of Huber Heights, Ohio, Donald Stafford (Wanda) of Xenia, Ohio, Thomas Stafford (Barbara) of Xenia, Ohio, Jerry Stafford (Cindy) of Beavercreek, Ohio and James Stafford (Vickie) of Amarillo, Texas. Also surviving are many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening, Aug. 21 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon.
Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
