Everyone is invited to two special events that are taking place this weekend at Green River Baptist Church at 2880 Ken Miller Rd. in Green Creek.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, a community cookout will be  held at 5 p.m. at the church.
On Sunday, Aug. 12, the movie “Courageous” will be shown, also at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the movie.
