James Kyle Kingsolver

James Kyle Kingsolver, 90, of Hogback Road, Tryon died Monday, April 23, 2012 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Columbus.
Born in Hickory, N.C., he was the son of the late Ernest and Pearl Kingsolver and was the widower of Helen Kline Kingsolver, who died in l996. Mr. Kingsolver was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U. S. Navy, and was a retired engineer with Reynolds Metals.
Surviving are: two daughters, Susan Kingsolver of New York, N.Y. and Karen Kingsolver of Davis, Calif.; two grandchildren, Daniel and Carolyn Maltz of New York, N.Y. Also surviving is a sister, Gladys Hart of Greensboro, N.C. He will be missed by his family and extended family, including Dawn Mulderig and Nikki Harrelson.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
