Vonda B. Moore, 53, of Rutherfordton, N.C. died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  She was a native of Greenville, S.C. and the daughter of the late Houston and Hazel Barton. She was a member of Crosswell Apostolic Church in Easley, S.C. and a homemaker and caregiver. She was the widow of David “Rod” Moore.
She is survived by one daughter, Tonya Rogers of Rutherfordton, N.C.; one son, Donnie Rogers of Columbus; stepdaughter, Julie Fincher of Forest City, N.C.; five grandchildren; five brothers and one sister, all of Greenville, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 28 at the Jim & Carolyn Moore Building next to Gray’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton, N.C.
The funeral service will be in Gray’s Chapel United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28. Sister Ann Smith and Rev. Carroll Flack officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Online guest register at www.mcmahansfuneralhome.com.
