Gail Miller Flynn

Gail Miller Flynn died March 17 after a valiant battle with kidney disease. She was 60 years old.
Born in Orange, N.J., Gail lived most of her life in Charlotte, N.C., graduating from Myers Park High School and then spending two years as a Texas A&M Aggie. For the past 30 years, she was a valued member of the laboratory staff at CMC-Mercy.
As a teenager, Gail was an avid horsewoman, caring for her beloved Blanca and her colt Tobiano. She enjoyed theater and music and excelled at craftwork, knitting dozens of colorful afghans and working wonders with needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Andrews Flynn. She is survived by her father, Kirtland Flynn Jr. (formerly of Tryon), and his wife, Anne, of Stokesdale, N.C.; her sister, Patricia Moore of Bangkok, Thailand, and her brother, James Flynn, his wife, Donna, and nephews Ian, Seth and Ross of Charlotte.
As per her wishes, there will be no service. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Cremation Society of Charlotte.
Memorials may be made to the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte or a Hospice unit in your community.
