Charles W. Ford Sr., 89, of Tryon died March 14, 2012. He was the son of the late Charles and Mamie Burrell Ford and widower of Hazel Gosnell Ford.
He was employed by the Tryon ABC Board for many years.
He is survived by a son, Charles W. Ford Jr. (Marsha) of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Frank Ford of East Elijay, Ga.; and a sister, Joanne Lewis of Buford, Ga.
He was predeceased by a brother and sisters, Ernest Ford, Dorothy Foster, Betty Lewellyn and Brenda Ford.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 17 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville, conducted by Rev. Harold Thompson.
