Simmons, Milam perform tomorrow at Super Saturday

Left: When Al Simmons takes the stage of the Tryon Fine Arts Center on Super Saturday at 10:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., he will make music from the most unusual things – tin cans, soda straws, old garden hoses, plastic drink bottles, coat hangers, and yes, even a turkey baster. Children in the audience – and probably some of their parents – are likely to go home and try to play their dish drainer or TV remote… whatever catches their fancy.
Right: Poster for MJ Milam, an eighth-grade dancer and Michael Jackson tribute artist who has performed widely on stage and television. Milam will perform on the Community Stage at Super Saturday.
