The new Polk County Republican Headquarters building will open this Saturday, Feb. 25. The public is invited to an open house between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with a hot dog cookout. The ribbon cutting is scheduled at 11:15 a.m. The building was recently completed to replace the former building, which was demolished after the roof caved in under the weight of a snowstorm in December 2010.
