Georgia Ellen Howell Wilson, 85, born Oct. 25, 1926, of Campobello went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum.
She was a native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Isom and Tessie Bowers Howell. She was the wife of the late Mark A. Wilson. She was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed quilting handmade quilts from her home.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Lawson and husband Albert of Campobello; three sons, Roy D. Wilson of Columbus, Jerry Wilson of Campobello and Troy Wilson and wife Sandra of Campobello. She has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Larry Howell of Campobello; and six sisters, Ann Brooks, Azalee Howell and Gertrude Hall of Inman, S.C., Cleo Thompson of Campobello, Nellie Sellars of Greer, S.C. and Myrtle Miller (Burl) of Mauldin, S.C.; and a sister in law, Evelyn Howell of Campobello.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Enoch Howell and Henry Howell; a son, Donald M. Wilson, and a granddaughter, Tanya Lawson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 12 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. at Ingleside Baptist Church, Hwy. 176, Landrum. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the church, conducted by Rev. Everett Wallace and Rev. Paul Edwards.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff, nurses and aides at the Smith Phayer Hospice House of Landrum for their wonderful care and services for everyone there.
