Polk Central School names Kiwanis Terrific Kids for January

Polk Central School teachers recently named their choices for Terrific Kids for January.
Terrific Kids is a program sponsored by the Tryon Kiwanis Club to honor and recognize students who are respectful, kind and responsible. Each month a different character trait is emphasized at the school. For January the trait is integrity. School counselor Susan Howell visits each classroom during the month to talk to the students about the ways character counts.
