A tractor-trailer accident closed one lane of Interstate 26 eastbound in Polk County at mile marker 64.5 near Saluda on Friday afternoon, Jan. 6.
The tractor-trailer apparently hit the guard rail and overturned, according to reports.
Polk County sheriff’s deputies, emergency medical service personnel and the N.C. Highway Patrol were at the scene.
No information was available at press time about whether any other vehicles were involved or whether anyone was injured in the incident.
