The Polk County sheriff’s office will host its first annual golf tournament to raise money for the Polk County sheriff’s office Needy Person’s Fund.

Money raised through the tournament will be used to help those who can’t afford heating fuel, kerosene, kerosene heaters, blankets, electric bills and other items during the winter months.

The tournament will be on Nov. 5 at 9 a.m. at The Red Fox Country Club.
