Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 162 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Franklin Jos Abernathy was convicted of second-degree trespass. Abernathy was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Austin Tylar Ball was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by under-19-year-old. Ball was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Stephen E. Carbone was convicted of speeding 92 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Carbone was fined $92 and court costs.
Daniel Albert Chinchar was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Chinchar was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Daniel John Dragonetti was convicted of driving while license revoked and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Dragonetti was sentenced to 11 days in jail with credit for time served.
Tyrone Antonio English was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of a schedule II controlled substance and failure to appear on misdemeanor. English was sentenced to 21 days in jail with credit for time served.
Michael Harold Gifford was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21 and simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. Gifford was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs for driving after consuming and one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs for simple possession.
Connie Penfiel Hamlton was convicted of simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Hamlton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Duncan G. Herbert was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Herbert was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Tyreese Lee Martin was convicted of simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. Martin was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Alvin Keith McKinney was convicted of misdemeanor possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. McKinney was sentenced to 24 hour of community service and court costs.
Luis Muentes was convicted of driving/allowing a motor vehicle to be driven with no registration. Muentes was fined $50 and court costs.
Jade Robpheall Murphy was convicted of driving a vehicle with no operator’s license and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Murphy was fined $50 and court costs.
William Joey Owensby was convicted of failure to comply with monies. Owensby’s sentence was revoked with 77 days credit given.
Christoper Eugene Packer was convicted of assault on a female and communicating threats. Packer was sentenced to one year supervised probation.
Michelle Mari Trombley was convicted of simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. Trombley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of second-degree trespass. McCraw was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for time served.
Victor Alonso Robles was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Robles was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for four days.
