We employ the politicians

To the Editor:
While my husband and I and a couple of friends attended a political rally in Spartanburg for Michelle Bachman, I wondered if the American voting public really understands that we are the employers interviewing these politicians for a very important job.
It seems to me the American public has become dependent sheep to these politicians. We need to know their entire resume and background. We need to stop putting politicians on a pedestal and to keep them on track for the job they might be hired to do.
Since when does any successful employer allow employees to run the business way beyond the job description?
