Polk County District Court results from July 27 and Aug. 3

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 229 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are printed as appear in court documents):
July 27, 2011 session:
Barry Dean Arrowood Jr. was convicted of deposit litter into the waters and simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Arrowood was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for time served.
William Joe Benson was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Benson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Jackie Lee Bradley was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bradley was fined $40 and court costs.
Tony Edward Buchanan was convicted of a misdemeanor probation violation. Buchanan’s 45-day sentence was activated.
Amos Bull was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bull was fined $50 and court costs.
David Ray Case was convicted of unlawfully taking migratory game bird. Case was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $350 fine and court costs.
Corey Tyshon Cook was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premises. Cook was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Kyle Avery Cox was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Cox was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Kendall Scott Deal was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Deal was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Michael Devon Dye was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Dye was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Mary Elizabeth Gilliam was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gilliam was fined $40 and court costs.
Eric Michael Hansen was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Hansen was sentenced to 24 hours of community service.
Gladys Davis Horton was convicted of no operator’s license. Horton was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Rebecca Lynn Hyde was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hyde was fined $20 and court costs.
William Felix Jones, II was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Jones was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Shawn Christoph Layton was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Layton was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Shawn Christoph Layton was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Layton was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
Michael Austin Lively was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Lively was fined $40 and court costs.
Stephen Doment Lucas was convicted of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of ½ to 1 and ½ ounce of marijuana. Lucas was sentenced to 24 months unsupervised probation, a $300 fine and court costs.
Xavier Irtone Marrs was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Marrs was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Jim Wayne Meyer was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Meyer was fined $30 and court costs.
Melissa Leanne Norris was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Norris was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Dylan Joseph Parris was convicted of speeding 94 mph in a 65 mph zone. Parris was fined $94 and court costs.
James Cameron Sanders was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Sanders was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Rachelle Marie Sciuva was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Sciuva was fined $40 and court costs.
Bethany Maria Smucker was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Smucker was fined $30 and court costs.
Stacey Lavon Whitmire was convicted of no operator’s license. Whitmire was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $60 fine and court costs.

Phillip C. Brewer was convicted of speeding 96 mph in a 65 mph zone. Brewer was fined $49 and court costs.
James Burtes was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Burtes was fined $50 and court costs.
Jessica Callebs Clark was convicted of possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clark was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Teresa Jane Glass was convicted of speeding 91 mph in 65 mph zone. Glass was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $99 fine and court costs.
Ronald Vance Greene Jr. was convicted of two counts of possession of stolen goods/property. Greene was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, $1,750 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs.
Horace Dean Jackson was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Jackson was fined $40 and court costs.
Joe W. Lewis was convicted of speeding 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lewis was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $91 fine and court costs.
Angel Mondragon was convicted of speeding 91 mph in 65 mph zone. Mondragon was fined $44 and court costs.
Stephanie Marlow Upton was convicted of larceny after breaking and/or entering. Upton was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 20 days in jail with credit for time served, $206 in restitution, a $200 fine and court costs.
Jesse Paul Williams was convicted of injury to personal property and intoxicated and disruptive. Williams was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for time served.
Ashley Meredith Zubiena was convicted of possession of malt beverage/unfortified wine by 19/20 year old, breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking and/or entering and second degree trespassing. Zubiena was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, $958 in restitution, a $300 fine and court costs.
