Anna L. Jaeger

Anna L. Jaeger, 82, of Howard Gap Rd., Tryon, died Saturday June 25, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Minnie McBride Green.
Anna was administrative assistant for her husband, Albert F. W. Jaeger, in the early years of Carolina Yarn Processors in Tryon. After her sons were born, she was a faithful and loving wife and mother, and later an equally caring grandmother.
Surviving are two sons: Jeffrey W. Jaeger (Cristiane) of Greensboro, N.C., and Fredrick W. Jaeger (Christina) of Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Stephanie A. Jaeger, MD of Anchorage, Ak., and Pamela J. Palmore (Ron) of Gasburg, Va. Also surviving are three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Darryl E. Maxwell officiating.
