The Landrum Library will host a book signing and talk by Jim Stehlik on Tuesday, June 21 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Stehlik will talk about the release of his new book, “Distilling the Mysteries of Hogback Mountain: An Historical Record and Photo Essay of Hogback Mountain.”
For the past 200 years, Hogback Mountain has been owned by industrial moguls, developers and governmental elite, with moonshining and logging the prime means of employment. Learn how these conflicting interests combined to create a true historical mystery.
A book signing will follow for the benefit of The Nature Conservancy’s Jones Gap Expansion Project. The program is free and open to the public.
