Polk County District Court results, April 13 session

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 84 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are as printed in court results):
Andrew Steve McDowell was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor breaking and/or entering, two counts of misdemeanor larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. McDowell was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service and court costs.
Douglas Wade Melton was convicted of driving while license revoked. Melton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
Joseph D. Morrison was convicted of four counts of worthless check simple. Morrison was sentenced to pay court costs.
Maura Coghl Richardson was convicted of two counts of worthless check simple. Richardson was sentenced to pay court costs.
Tamara Gail Sierra was convicted of financial card fraud and misdemeanor larceny. Sierra was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $205 in restitution and court costs for financial card fraud and one year unsupervised probation and court costs for larceny.
Ricky Allen Tucker II was convicted of consumption of alcohol by 19/20 year old. Tucker was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
