Thermal Belt Outreach Ministries (TBOM) recently received a check for $3,252.50 from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a result of their Compassionate Care in Communities.

A match in funds was made by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to the donations Trinity Lutheran Church collected, both within its own congregation and in setting up collections at IGA during several weeks in November and collecting donations from the community.

Trinity Lutheran Church has participated in this program for several years. Trinity is located at 3353 Hwy. 176 in Tryon. Bible study is held each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. with worship service at 10:15 a.m. There is also a Bible study each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. All are welcome.
