Polk district court results Dec. 8

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, with Judge Mack
Brittain presiding, 152 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to
superior court. The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Billy Joe Blanchard was convicted of failure to stop for stop sign/flashing red light.
Blanchard was fined $100 and court costs.
Amanda Lynn Brown was convicted of drive/allow motor vehicle with no registration.
Brown was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Martha Falls Clark was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Clark was
fined $75 and court costs.
David Michael Garren was convicted of speeding 121 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Garren
was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $120 fine and court costs.
Darrell D. Knighton was convicted of attempt to obtain property under false pretense.
Knighton was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community
service, a $200 fine and court costs.
Brian Cecil Mull was convicted of speeding 100 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone and failure
to appear on misdemeanor. Mull was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time
served.
Isidro Huizar Munoz was convicted of driving while license revoked. Munoz was
sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $60 fine and court costs.
Susan Marie Phillips was convicted of speeding 69 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Phillips
was fined $15 and court costs.
Wendell Paul Radford was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. Radford was
sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Randy Yates Roach was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor
larceny. Roach was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs for
possession of drug paraphernalia and 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours in
community service, $1,400 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs.
Raneisha S. Simmons was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Simmons’
probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Sonya Russell Toney was convicted of second degree trespass. Toney was sentenced to
10 days in jail with credit for time served.
Ricky Allen Tucker, II was convicted of failure to comply with monies. Tucker’s
probation was revoked and Tucker was sentenced to two days in jail.
James Earnest Walls, Jr. was convicted of driving while license revoked. Walls was
sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $200 fine
and court costs.
