Bobby Dean Laughter, 77, of 205 Kirby Street, Landrum, died October 2, 2010. He was the son of the late Andy and Bertha Splawn Laughter and husband of Frances Suddeth Laughter. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired self-employed businessman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gary Laughter of Columbus and Ricky Laughter of Landrum; two daughters,; Patti Laughter and Eileen Spears, both of Spartanburg; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Petty Funeral Home, Landrum.
