TLTs Grace &Glorie bringing old characters together

The Tryon Little Theater production, Grace & Glorie, is set to play the Workshop Thursday through Sunday, April 29 through May 9.
Actress Shirley Sarlin, who has been performing professionally for over 50 years, played Grace eight years ago at Greenvilles Warehouse Theatre, and she says she treasures the role of Grace Stiles as one of the favorite roles of her entire career.&bsp; BJ Koonce, artistic director of Greenvilles Centre Stage, played Glorie to Sarlins Grace, and shes coming up to Tryon to see this beloved play once again.
In TLTs production, Grace is being played by Connie Clark, and Glorie by Marianne Carruth. Director Elvin Clark and Stage Manager Jody McPherson say that they find themselves applauding at the end of each rehearsal because of the power of these two characters and the writing of playwright Tom Ziegler.
