Polk County hosted the Wolverine Co-Ed Classic Friday, March 19. Several outdoor track & field athletes posted improved marks.
Polks John Spencer Wolfe competed in the maximum allowed, four events. Wolfe won the 400 Meter Dash in 50.54 breaking the school record in the event set by Kirk Trowell in 1999. Wolfe also won the 800 Meter Run in 1:59, the 1600 Meter Run in 4:34, and led off the winning 4×400 Meter Relay, capturing the number one ranking for 2A 4×400 teams in the State.
