Brooke Cole greets guests at the Tryon Toymakers House Museum preview reception held during the Tryon Christmas Stroll last Friday. The stroll also featured visits with Santa for children, live music throughout the town, including performances by the Community Chorus, Polk County High School’s Vocal Impressions, Pam McNeil and Janet and Clifford Joens. The official tree lighting ceremony, originally scheduled for during the stroll, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 5:30 p.m.
