Isothermal Community College is holding a holiday open house at the Polk campus on Thursday, December 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be holiday treats by the fire and paintings, drawings and photography of ICCs students and instructors displayed in the gallery. Live entertainment and activities include these scheduled performances:

9:15 a.m. Appalachian Christmas with storyteller, Marilyn McMinn McCredie.

10:30 a.m. The Art of the Advent, a visual presentation of art heralding the birth and early events in the life of Jesus Christ.&bsp; Presented by Dr. Ben Pfingstag.

12 noon Live music with strolling violinists, Celtic Wynd.

ICCs Medical Assistant class will provide free checking of blood glucose levels and blood pressure throughout the day.
