The four-way test of the things we think, say and do: is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
A banner with these Rotary principles on it was placed in the Visual Arts room at Landrum High School on Friday, November 13.
This is where Interact meets twice a month on Tuesday mornings before classes begin. Interact is a Rotary sponsored youth service club at Landrum High School.
Interact derives its name from the words international and action, reflecting the nature of an organization that exists in 110 countries and promotes active service at home and abroad.
Faculty advisor Cathey Stoney offers members the opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills. This Rotary principle helps develop a strong work ethic and sense of individual responsibility.
These Interact students are adopting a family for Christmas, putting service above self.
