Saluda artist Bonnie Joy Bardos won a merit award in the sixth annual &uot;Bring Us Your Best&uot; judged and juried art show presented by The Arts Council of Hendersonville County, located at 538 North Main Street, Hendersonville.

The show opened Friday, August 7, and will be up until September 19.

It is one of the Arts Council&squo;s most popular exhibitions, attracting some of the best artists from across the region working in all media. &uot;Bring Us Your Best&uot; is sponsored in part by the Ira Wax and Lynne Wax Memorial Funds, Joseph Laughter Clothier and the Times-News.

Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.; 828-693-8504.

Bonnie Bardos also is showing new work in the current Art Trek exhibit at the Upstairs Artspace at 49 South Trade Street, Tryon.
