Vera Twitty

Mrs. Vera was also a member of the St. Luke C.M.E. Church. She retired from St. Luke&squo;s Hospital after 45 years of employment.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, one son, Herbert Twitty of Campobello; one daughter, Mary Ann Twitty of Tryon; Charlie Miller, long companion and friend of Tryon; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The funeral service was Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 at 3 p.m. at St. Luke Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Tryon. Reverend Barbara Phillips officiated.

Cannon and Son Mortuary of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
