Roberto Rivera

A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Jose Rivera Teron and Carmen Pacheco. He retired from the U.S. Air Force where he was an airline mechanic, and from the U.S. Postal Service. He was affiliated with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah&squo;s Witnesses in Palm Bay and loved to go fishing and hunting.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who is survived by his wife of 54 years, Aida Rivera; his children Alicia Espada of Okeechobee, Fla., Roberto Rivera Jr. of West Virginia, Aida Montalvo of Columbus, Maria Santiago of Palm Bay, Fla.. and Eric Rivera of Palm Bay; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister. Elsa Rodriguez; and a brother. Luis Rivera.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah&squo;s Witnesses in Columbus.
