Gibson Park Pool provides relief from heat

Record high of 99 recorded Monday&bsp;Alex Batson (right) was ready and waiting for Gibson Park Pool to open for the season last Friday. She was just one of the children (see below) to beat the heat at the pool, located on Park Street in Columbus. The pool is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday (closed Monday). (photo by Leah Justice)
