Survey issued regarding YMCA at Harmon Field

Friends of Harmon Field has issued a survey to see how many residents are interested in a YMCA fitness and aquatic center at Harmon Field.
&dquo;There has been talk of a YMCA there for nearly two years, but nothing has happened but talk,&dquo; says Friends of Harmon Field member Lorna Dever, who volunteered to do the survey. &dquo;We are needing to move forward — Do we start a YMCA? Do we have something that is privately owned? Do we do nothing?&dquo;
Dever says she is taking the survey through the community, and she&squo;s put it on the Internet at&bsp; http://www.serendipityrancher.com/harmonfieldsurvey.html.
The survey has a deadline of midnight, May 31.
Dever says the survey will give the community a voice in the process of deciding what is created at Harmon Field. She says it takes only a couple minutes to complete, and she hopes many people will complete the survey to give a &dquo;fair representation across the county.&dquo;
&dquo;No name is required on the survey, so this is totally confidential,&dquo; she says. &dquo;I won&squo;t even be able to tell who submitted it.&dquo;
