Filing begins Monday for Polk County elections

Polk County residents interested in running for office this year will begin making it official today. Filing begins at noon today in the Polk County Board of Elections Office and ends at noon on Feb. 26. On Nov. 2, voters will make their pick for Polk County Sheriff, Polk County Clerk of Court, three seats on the Polk County Board of Commissioners and four seats on the Polk County Board of Education.
