The Polk County Board of Elections recently hired Stephanie Pack as election specialist. The board decided to change the job title from deputy election director to election specialist. Pack is filling the position left by current election director Karen Lawrence, who was previously the deputy director. Pack worked as a precinct judge and chief judge, has worked one-stop elections and has worked in the elections office since September 2014 as a contract service employee. She lives in Columbus.
